Buckley & Brough Photography’s main aim is to capture and create beautiful fine art people based photographs, and part of the company’s ethos is to undertake a commercial or charitable project every year.

Our project for 2009 is to photograph a fine art calendar for national baby charity Bliss. The calendar shoots have been taking place at our studio’s in the Ouseburn Valley Newcastle upon Tyne. Families thought the region have been a great help in the way they have responded to the call for submissions and have enthusiastically brought their children aged between 0 - 18 months to take part.

The Bliss calendar will be donated to the charity at the end on 2009 and will be sold by the charity to raise funds for the organisation.

For 2010 we are now starting a  new project to raise awareness and support for the Children’s Heart Unit Fund based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.

We are producing a beautiful hardcover book of fine-art images of babies and toddlers, and we are looking for children from 0 months to 4 years to take part.

The images are to be quirky and humorous with children pretending to be ‘grown-ups’.
